Sensitive Teeth

One of the most common reasons that people feel sensitivity is because of receding gums or gum disease, both which leave the sensitive roots of the teeth exposed.

High sugar or acidic foods and drinks can cause tooth erosion, breaking down your teeth’s natural enamel which is designed to protect the teeth. If enamel is exposed or eroded, your sensitive roots are exposed.

If you avoid eating hot or cold foods and the thought of biting into an ice-cream or hard apple makes you wince in pain, we advise you to book an appointment so that your dentist can identify the cause of the problem and treat where necessary.
